The service

SpeakCircle offers live online English and French classes taught by instructors over Zoom. You take a short placement quiz, see classes available for your level, authorize a card hold to reserve a class date, and join when the class is live.

Class days, times, and open levels depend on the published schedule. SpeakCircle does not guarantee a class every day or at every level at all times.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact support if you believe your account was used without your permission.

Placement

Placement is based on an automated quiz. The result matches you to a level band so you see appropriate classes. SpeakCircle staff may adjust a placement when needed for a better fit. Placement does not guarantee a seat in every published class.

Pricing and payment

The standard class fee is $9.99 USD (or the amount shown at checkout). When you reserve a class, SpeakCircle places an authorization hold on your card. The hold becomes a charge only when you join that class. If you cancel before joining, or if SpeakCircle cancels the class before you join, the hold is released and you are not charged for that class.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By completing checkout, you authorize SpeakCircle and Stripe to place holds and capture charges as described in these Terms and the Refund Policy.

Class access

Join links are personal and may be revoked if a reservation is cancelled, a charge fails, or access is otherwise ended. Do not share join links. Classes are live instructional sessions; recording, redistribution, or disruptive behavior may result in removal without a refund for the affected class.

Refunds

Refund and hold-release rules are described in the Refund Policy. Captured class fees are generally non-refundable once you have joined the live class.

Acceptable use

Use SpeakCircle only for lawful learning purposes. Do not harass instructors or other learners, attempt to bypass payment or access controls, or misuse the service in a way that harms SpeakCircle or other participants.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
